I have owned and operated businesses for the last 20 years and in the past had grown from a team of 5 to over 52 employees across 3 Companies we had all at once.

We owned a business in the Construction sector, the trade sector and the retail sector, so as you can imagine I gained a lot of experience in three different industries.

Since then I fell in love with technology and the world of online marketing to bring me where I am today running our Digital Media Agency ‘Digiton Media’

A Marketing Coaches goal is to show you the short cuts and any blind spots you may not have noticed in your business.

Coaching vs Consulting

If you do not know the inner workings of the online marketing industry yourself, you can hire either me as your marketing coach or as your marketing consultant to help you create and implement a marketing plan. However, a marketing coach and marketing consultant offer different things for your business.

Purpose

Both marketing coaches and marketing consultants help you increase your business through marketing. Both can help you understand the marketing industry and terminology, and work with you to create a personalized plan of attack best suited for your type of business.

A marketing coach and a marketing consultant can build a marketing plan, launch the plan and help you maintain it and give you accountability, which will help bring in more business and revenue.

Functions of a Marketing Coach

As a marketing coach I would primarily act as your teacher. I will meet with you (either in person or on Zoom/Skype) and discuss your business. From there, I will help you develop a marketing strategy tailored to your type of business and your individual needs.

Functions of a Consultant

As a marketing consultant I would work with you to devise a marketing plan for your business, but as a consultant I would be doing the majority of the work ie implement systems and processes, different platforms and programs to build out your online presence.

As a consultant I would often stay with your business for a long period of time, and will execute most of the marketing work myself. For example, I could become your main media buyer for advertising or build out most of the content for your website.

You can provide input, but you will not have to do much of the actual marketing yourself.

Deciding Which Option to Choose

Choosing me as your marketing coach is an ideal situation if you only need guidance and someone to hold you accountable in your monthly activities.

If you choose to do the work yourself, you will be taking on the fact that you will need to learn a lot about the online marketing industry plus find the time to implement the strategies taught in your coaching sessions.

The other option is to have your own ‘in house’ marketing team working for you or outsource to freelancers at places like UpWork or even hire a Virtual Assistant.

If you do not have the time to invest into doing your own marketing, a marketing consultant may work better for you. Since I, as the marketing consultant do the actual work it may cost more but will free up more time in your business to build relationships with the new prospects and customers you bring in.
